During the 80 - ies of the last century, one of the most popular television series screened on national small screen is definitely a " Top Rated surrealists " - a sort of response to the Yugoslav equally popular series of Monty Python . One of the directors and writers of the series was and Miroslav Mandic who this year made his first feature film after more than 20 years - " Adria Blues" !
The movie " Adria Blues " received Senad Basic, local audiences probably best known for her role as Faruk Fazlinovića in popular comedy television series " Mad, confused, normal ." In the film Basic plays an aging rocker Tony Riffa where his wife was trying to organize a concert that thanks to Toni could return to the music scene .
Film " Adria Blues" in the words of director Mandic is a story about a generation of people who are at the beginning of the 90s were old enough to be the earlier system of values formed , but young enough that they are different concepts of transitional changes significantly differentiated from each other. With the two main actors who interpret the rocker and his wife , the other interesting characters are members of a generation that grew up with Toni's music, and to their own mutual konflitke and know the problems , often tragi- comic ways.
