Turracher Höhe is one of the most reliable snow regions in Austria, only 3.5 hours drive from Zagreb. 43 km of perfectly groomed ski trails are suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Funapark, cross-country skiing, hiking and snowshoeing trails, 1.6 km long Nocky Flitzer "death train" tracks, guided snowmobile and horse-drawn carriage tours, ice skating and curling on the frozen lake, excellent gastronomy, butlers with free champagne and sweets for kids on the trails ....
The diversity of the Turracher Höhe area delights skiers and snowboarders alike, cross-country skiers, hiking and snowshoeing enthusiasts, walkers, skaters and sledders. Wide and well-prepared ski slopes with frequent sunny weather are the strongest assets of the Turracher Höhe area. With good reason, the Skiresort.de portal rated this ski area in the winter of 2016 as "the leading ski resort in the category up to 60 km of trails".
The ski slopes stretch at an altitude of between 1,400 and 2,205 meters with 15 lifts and ski lifts. There are four lifts with 6 seats, 1 combined cable car (cabin for 8 people and 6 seats), 1 two-seater chairlift and 7 ski lifts / anchors, and 1 cable car (so-called "Maulwurf"). Of the 43 kilometers of various ski trails, 14 kilometers are easy trails (blue), 24.5 kilometers of medium trails (red) and 3.5 kilometers of difficult trails (black). The Turrach Höhe circular tour is a unique 12 km circular ski tour around and across Lake Turracher See. Night skiing is possible every Wednesday. FUN MOUNTAIN - fun on the sku tracks
Turracher Höhe Snow Park: has a length of 1.5 kilometers, at an altitude of 2,030 meters. Family-Line is the 4th trail in the snow park that has a separate entrance, flat jumps and obstacles. The XXL Funslope amusement trail with its 1.5 km length is one of the longest amusement trails in the world. Children's trail: Adventure trail with the Nocky mascot for the youngest skiers.
The rails of the Nocky Flitzer "death train" are 1.6 km long. Then there are 15 km of cross-country ski trails (double troughs), 24 km of winter hiking and snowshoeing trails, guided tours on snowmobiles and horse-drawn carriages, skating and curling on the frozen lake Turracher See, are just some of the interesting offers.
